Charles A. Bell ’54

Charles was born in Oak Park, Illinois, on Jun e12, 1930, the son of the late Charles H. and Laverna Bell. He was raised in Westfield, New Jersey, where he graduated from Westfield High School.
After high school, he attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. During the Korean War, he served as a sergeant with the United States Army. Charles was the founder and former president of Precision Systems Inc. of Natwick, a medical-instrumentation design and manufacturing firm. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge in Shirley and also belonged to The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
On December 21, 1957, he married Ann C. Rogers, a native of Au Sable Forks, New York, and the pair lived in Framingham for a short time before moving to Weston, where they raised their family. THey moved to Wayland 13 years ago.
