Bion H. Francis Jr

Bion H. Francis Jr. of Easton, Connecticut, beloved husband of Margaret Gale Francis, passed away surrounded by his family on April 22, 2016, at the age of 81. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 12, 1934, to the late Bion H. and Helen Collins Francis Sr.

Bion graduated from Wellsley High School, received his bachelor's degree from MIT Sloane School of Management, and his master's degree from Southern Connecticut State University. He was a proud member of the Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Bion was affiliated with the Rolls Royce Owner's Club and the MG Car Club. He was a weekend writer for the sports section of the New Haven Register for many years. He worked at Remington Arms and, most recently, was a professor emeritus at Gateway Community College.
