Henry L. Henze ’49

Henry ‘Hank’ Henze, formerly of Oakdale, New York, passed on Feb 5, 2015 in Lafayette, California. Born June 8, 1924, in Glen Rock, New Jerseey to Henry B. and Caroline B. Henze, he was one of six children. He loved airplanes, graduated from MIT, ran cross country, married Ruth C. Henze of Westbury, New York, built his own house, and had a 35-year career at Grumman. He loved his family and friends and was an avid sailor, swimmer, jogger, engineer, and craftsman. He served in WWII as Sergeant, Army Air Force, a crew chief in 497th Bomber Group on Saipan.
